The Process
THE EXACTING STANDARDS OF OUR CURING PROCESS
Once the hand selected, prime vanilla beans arrive at our modern, sanitary manufacturing plant, the aging continues. It is during this process that the vanilla beans begin to acquire their distinctive vanilla flavor. The beans are aged in warming rooms for periods of at least one year.
It is this painstaking, meticulous hand processing that allows Vera Cruz Premium Mexican Vanilla Products to provide the world with the finest Mexican gourmet vanilla.
Only 2% of the world’s natural vanilla comes from Mexico. Over 90% of the rest of the world’s supply is produced synthetically. Clearly, the Vera Cruz methods of producing small, high quality batches of gourmet vanilla products are superior to that of the other vanilla producing areas of the world.
